    Are all inclusive resorts really worth it?

    This past spring break, myself and two of my closest friends (along with 500 other college students) stayed at the Breezes Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. It was beautiful and we had an amazing week. We booked an all-inclusive package through STS (Student Travel Services), a travel agency geared towards college students’ spring break vacations.

    Does Your Boss Suck?

    If you’ve worked long enough, chances are you can answer this question with a resounding yes. Count me in that category. I, like so many of you, have had a terrible boss or two. Embarrassingly enough, I have also been a terrible boss. It is hard to write those words, but they are in fact true. Never having shied away from tough conversations or challenging the wrongs that I see; it would be disingenuous not to include myself. Like many others before me, I was thrust into a position of leading and managing others with no training and too much ego.

    Can You Imagine…I Can’t

    Can you imagine being a high school student packing up your things and heading off to a boarding school? For some of you the answer is a resounding yes. Generations of your family have done it and it is no big deal. What if that school was thousands of miles away, in a country where you have no family and where they speak a different language than you? Still think that answer would be yes? Let’s add a few more things to the mix. How about if your visa is expired and you can’t get back home to see your family until you have a new visa or at least an appointment at the embassy to get a new visa? Add in that for a variety of reasons your parents can’t come to see you. Oh, I almost forgot that you are from a country that is currently involved in a military conflict that has global implications.
