A Few Thoughts on Events We Do

At Fun Enterprises we deliver over 1200 events a year, from a single caricature artist to events for thousands.  Some events are more action-packed than others, some have high drama, and some are just downright aggravating.  Here at Fun Enterprises, we pride ourselves on customer service. Most of all, FUN appreciates all the effort our clients put into their events, either small private affairs or larger corporate or college events.

April is one of our more active months during the year, and I have had the pleasure of working numerous events in the past several weeks.  For example FUN was at a location that we have attended several dozen times in the past. At the event, everything went well …..but, the people at the event were VERY interesting to observe.  For the most part, the attendees were friendly and supportive of what FUN does.  Unfortunately, one woman had a few cocktails and was a bit aggressive, but entertaining. I only had to retreat on my heels once when she “got into my face”.  A few of her coworkers collected her at that point and marched her off; it was not a problem just a usual occurrence.  Several days later FUN was at a Bar Mitzvah. We worked with a planner who was extremely appreciative of the program FUN was providing, and was very attentive to those who were working.  On the flip side, another occasion was the opposite.  It was simply, “here’s your location and don’t bother me anymore”.  Whew, that was a “FUN” program.

Expectations are always different for each event FUN offers.  At a college or university we deal with students that are easy going, generally interested in the process, and value the programs that FUN provides.  In fact, the students usually understand FUN’s computer programs much better than an old guy like me.  When FUN does family oriented programs for businesses, we find that families tend to enjoy taking a family portrait which can be brought home for their mantel.  At corporate events, FUN’s products and photos act as icebreakers and conversation starters.  Private events, like birthday parties or Bar Mitzvahs, are other great events because of the excitement level of the attendees. Those attendees seem to thrive on the entertainment during the entire program.

Overall, I find the events FUN offers are enjoyable and informative. All of us at Fun Enterprises enjoy interacting with clients at events and getting feedback on our products and abilities.  The results have been exceptional, and the information exchanged has been thoughtful and beneficial to us.  I hope to be attending events for our clients for many more years to come.
